Primary Single Domain Antibodies: VHH, VHH-Fc and VNAR
Single domain antibodies are compact, recombinant antigen-binding reagents. They offer an alternative to conventional antibody formats across molecular biology, cell biology and protein research. Our primary range covers three formats:
• VHH single domain antibodies (nanobodies): single binding domains derived from camelid heavy-chain-only antibodies.
• VHH-Fc fusion antibodies: a VHH binding domain joined to an immunoglobulin Fc region, for selected Fc-based detection and capture workflows.
• VNAR single domain antibodies: a structurally distinct format derived from shark immunoglobulin new antigen receptors (IgNARs).
